Moving Forward Together: Lili Révay and the Ionart Team on Vision, Culture, and Global Growth

Press Release

October 8, 2025 - Budapest/Dallas/Los Angeles

Following recent administrative changes, CEO Lili Révay reaffirms Ionart’s unity and continued focus on creativity, collaboration, and global growth.

As Ionart Studios enters a new chapter, CEO Lili Révay and her team are reinforcing a message of unity, adaptability, and forward vision. From Budapest to Los Angeles and beyond, the visual effects and animation studio is represented in the United States by Executive Producer and Emmy Award-winning VFX Supervisor Mark Nazal through SurrealArts Group, along with newly announced Global Postproduction Partnerships with DigitalFilm Tree’s extended network. Together, these collaborations continue to strengthen Ionart’s reputation for artistry, reliability, and creative excellence across the entertainment industry.

After a short time away, Révay’s return to the CEO role comes at a moment of renewed focus for Ionart. She approaches the studio’s recent administrative changes with calm assurance.

“What defines Ionart hasn’t changed. We move forward as a unified global team, creating visual effects, animation, and everything in between with the same passion, quality, and unity that have always guided us,” she says. “Creative industries evolve, and so do the people within them. What matters is that Ionart remains strong, collaborative, and focused on the future.”

A kreatív ipar változik, akárcsak a benne dolgozó emberek. Az Ionart erősebb és egységesebb, mint valaha, a jövőnk építésére koncentrálunk, számunkra ez a legfontosabb.

Ionart Team A Clear Vision and a Strong Foundation

Révay’s leadership is rooted in both structure and empathy. After briefly stepping away, she returned with renewed clarity and an even deeper commitment to Ionart’s creative and operational foundation.
“I never really felt disconnected from Ionart. It’s a team and a vision I deeply care about,” she explains. “Stepping away gave me the distance to see how much potential still lies ahead. Coming back was about continuing something that still feels meaningful and full of opportunity.”

That clarity is already shaping Ionart’s next chapter. “I came back with a renewed focus, not just to lead, but to maintain the kind of structure and culture that allows creativity and business to grow together,” she adds.

Evolving Without Losing Identity

The entertainment and postproduction industries are changing faster than ever, but Ionart’s approach remains grounded in adaptability and purpose.

“For us, it’s not about chasing trends but building a structure that can adapt quickly, with strong partnerships, a clear creative vision, and a culture that values both innovation and reliability,” Révay says.

Ionart’s strength lies in combining local excellence with a global perspective. “We have deep artistic roots and a hands-on team in Budapest, but we are also connected to a wider network of studios and collaborators. That mix of agility and reach is what makes our model sustainable.”

Addressing the Rumors

With speculation about changes within the company, Révay and the Ionart leadership team are clear that the studio remains unified and growing.
“There is no division and no restructuring that affects who we are or what we do,” she clarifies. “The trust and collaboration within Ionart has never been stronger, and our partners in Europe and the United States can continue to expect the same quality, creativity, and dedication we’ve always delivered.”

Global Perspective, Local Connection

Révay recently returned from Los Angeles after attending the 77th Emmy Awards and meeting with Ionart’s U.S. partners and clients.
“It was an incredible experience. The Emmys, the people, the energy. It reminded me how universal creativity really is and how storytelling connects people everywhere,” she says. “Meeting our U.S. partners confirmed that Ionart’s blend of creativity, precision, and reliability belongs on the global stage.”

For clients, Ionart’s “global studio” philosophy means access to international expertise with the personal care and flexibility of a boutique team.
“We build on trust, creating together with passion, responsibility, and a strong sense of community. In the end, it’s about connection and collaboration, not size.”

A Unified Team for the Future

As Ionart grows, its foundation remains the same: a close-knit, multidisciplinary team driven by collaboration, creativity, and excellence across film, television, and games.
“When you collaborate across continents, you gain perspectives you can’t develop in isolation,” Révay says. “This kind of exchange keeps us sharp, curious, and consciously evolving, always aware of what and why we create.”

Révay’s leadership philosophy reflects the same balance that defines Ionart’s culture. “Sustainable growth comes from balance and flexibility. Creativity needs structure, and structure needs empathy,” she notes. “Leadership is not about control; it’s about creating the right environment for others to thrive.”

A Message to Partners and the Community

As Ionart looks ahead, Révay’s message is one of gratitude and shared commitment.

“Thank you for your trust and collaboration. Ionart’s strength has always been its people, our team, our partners, and our shared belief in what we can build together. The next chapter is about growth, and we are excited to shape it together. We have great new projects that we hope to announce soon and more exciting strategic partnerships that we’d love to talk about once finalized.”
